Number 13) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32,35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce and revoke the following restrictions in the District of Tendring: to introduce 'No Stopping Mon-Fri 8.15-9am 2.45-3.30pm' red route on Remercie Road, Mistley; to introduce 'Limited Waiting for Cars Only Maximum Stay 24 Hours No Return Within 1 Hour' restrictions on Naze Park Road and Princes Esplanade in Walton on the Naze; to introduce limited Waiting Mon-Sat Maximum Stay 1 Hour No Return Within 1 Hour or Resident Permit Holders SR1' bays outside Nos. 57 to 67 Station Road, Manningtree; to introduce 'Resident Permit Holders Only' bays on Station Street (for permits SS1 and SS2), New Pier Street (for permit NPS1) and Vicarage Lane (for permit VL1) in Walton on the Naze; and to revoke part of the No Waiting 9am-6pm between 01 Jun and 31 Aug' restriction on Woodberry Way, Walton on the Naze, southwest side, from the shared boundary of Nos. 116 and 118 to the shared boundary of Nos. 114 and 116. To also introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' on Swan Court and Harwich Road in Mistley; South Street and Station Road in Manningtree and Station Street, Naze Park Road, Standley Road and Princes Esplanade in Walton on the Naze. Finally, to introduce 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route on Church Road, Bateman Road and Manor House Way in Brightlingsea; Orwell Road and Marine Parade in Harwich; Landermere Road, Abbey Crescent, New Thorpe Road and Station Road in Thorpe le Soken and Station Road in Manningtree.

2. To amend Schedule 3 in The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to append the items set out in Schedule 1 of this notice.

3. To amend Schedule 5 in The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to append the items set out in Schedule 2 of this notice.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing the following tile numbers with revision 1: TM080 175, TM080177, TM095 320, TM100 317, TM100 320, TM105 315, TM120 312, TM120 315, TM180 222, TM245 207, TM245 210, TM250 215, TM250 217, TM255 217, TM255 220, TM255 227, TM255 315, TM260 227, TM260 230 and introducing the following tile numbers at revision 0: TM175 210, TM175 212, TM175 215, TM175 217, TM175 220 and TM180 225.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on Monday 2nd August 2021.

Alternatively documents can be posted to you upon request. Application to the High Court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
