(Abbots Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Abbots Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Mersea Road to its junction with Old Heath Road a distance of approximately 1245m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2308715A - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Mersea Road, St Botelphs Circus, St Botelphs Street, Magdalen Street, Military Road, Old Heath Road, Whitehall Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colchester Road, Virley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Virley in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 350m north of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 405m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30051974692 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by JK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Colchester Road, Whitehouse Hill, Station Road, North Street, Kelvedon Road, Oxley Hill, D'arcy Road, Factory Hill, Church Road, Maypole Road, Maldon Road, Orpens Hill, Warren Lane, Maldon Road South, Shrub End Road, Drury Road, Layer Road, High Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mill Lane, Weeley Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Weeley Heath in the District of Tending, from a point approximately 120m south east of its junction with Bentley Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2021 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005128 - V & B Homes). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vehicle crossing works are undertaken by V & B Homes.
An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, Bentley Road, Clacton Road, Rectory Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(North Station Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of North Station Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Essex Hall Roundabout to its junction with Albert Roundabout a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2021 for 1 day followed by 30th May 2021 for 1 day (2x Sundays only), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001039810 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via North Station Road, Essex Hall Roundabout, Station Way, Colne Bank Avenue Roundabout, Colne Bank Avenue, Albert Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Slough Lane, Elmstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice Is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Slough Lane, Elmstead in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 160m north west of its junction with Carpenters Lane for a distance of approximately 155m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th May 2021 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC111WC5W937K001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Slough Lane, Clacton Road, Carpenters Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Way, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Left Hand Turn) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily introduce a no left hand turn from Station Way, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from Station Way onto North Station Roundabout. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2021 for 3 nights (20:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCGG6G8LA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via North Station Roundabout, Northern Approach Road, Turner Road, Stanford Road, Mill Road.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

& Clearway (No.8) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stepping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 6th May 2021 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

3.
