(Footpath 31, Stanway and Footpath 4, Layer De La Haye) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council Intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 31 Stanway, In the Borough of Colchester, from Its junction with Olivers Lane, Colchester leading generally south eastwards for approximately 406 metres to the junction with Footpath 4. To temporarily close Footpath 4, Layer De La Haye, Colchester, from Its junction with footpath 31, Stanway, south eastwards for approximately 80 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/03/2021 to 12/03/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safely of the public and workforce while works are carried out to Chest Wood B Footbridge. The Order will come into effect on 05/03/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath 100, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily close Footpath 100, in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Wells Road, Colchester in a general south easterly direction for approximately 48 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 06/03/2021 to 02/04/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Repairs to Wells Road Footbridge are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Highfields Lane to continue along footpath 100 into Guildford Road and continue onto Wells Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 05/03/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(B1032 Kirby Road, Frinton and Walton) (Restricted Road) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81,82(1) & (2), 83(2), 84(1) and (2) and Parts III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To make the following length of B1032 Kirby Road, Frinton and Walton in the District of Tendring a restricted road (30mph by virtue of street lighting) (the road is currently subject to a 40mph speed limits):-

From a point approximately 133 metres north-east of its junction with Pork Lane, in a north-easterly direction to a point approximately 270 metres south of its junction with Thorpe Road and Frinton Road.
'The Tendring District Council (B1032 Kirby Road, Great Holland) (40mph Speed Limit and Revocation) Order 2005' is hereby revoked.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 26 February 2021.

Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Footpath 22, Dedham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 22, Dedham in the Borough of Colchester, for approximately 100 metres between the Sports Pavilion and the Duchy Barn Shed.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 01/03/2021 to 03/04/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Resurfacing path, and installation of bollard lights to the side of the footpath are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via the playing field either side of the work area which will be available and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 01/03/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Colchester Road, Bures Hamlet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Bures Hamlet in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 110m south east of its junction with Hamlet Court for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st March 2021 for 1 day and again on 28th March 2021 for 1 day (2x Sundays only), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010626507/3 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via North Station Roundabout, Northern Approach Road, Nayland Road Roundabout, Wildeve Avenue, Nayland Road, The Causeway, Horkesley Hill, Nayland Bypass, Harpers Hill, Honey Tye, Colchester Road, Further Street, Assington Road, Sudbury Road, Newton Road, Northern Road, Shawlands Avenue, Cornard Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Glen Avenue, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Glen Avenue, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Cymbeline Way to its junction with Lexden Road a distance of approximately 415m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th March 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2309554 - Essex County Council). (High Birch Road, Weeley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of High Birch Road, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 835m north of its junction with Frowick Lane for a distance of approximately 175m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd March 2021 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWCCTM83S001 - BT). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Mumford Road, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Lexden Road to its junction with Donard Drive a distance of approximately 160m. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Robinson Road, Brightlingsea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 45m south east of its junction with Wilfreds Way for a distance of approximately 120m in a south easterly direction. (Sycamore Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Sycamore Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Spruce Avenue to its junction with Laburnum Grove a distance of approximately 185m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th March 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2309023 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.4) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the Borough of Colchester, as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence after 4th March 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on

www.roadworks.org

. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. The Order will come into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close that length of Western Approach, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from Western Approach Roundabout to Essex Yeomanry Way Roundabout a distance of approximately 155m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Western Approach, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from London Road Roundabout to Western Approach Roundabout a distance of approximately 145m.

Closure 1 is scheduled to commence on 2nd March 2021 and finish on 22nd June 2021, Closure 2 is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2021 and finish on 17th September 2021 (214 days total), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004877 - Walker Construction Ltd).
