(Various Roads, Great Bentley) (20mph Zone, Restricted Roads & 30mph
Speed Limit) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81,82(2), 83(2), 84(1) (a) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of road (Admirals Green Development), Great Bentley in the District of Tendring:

Road Description
Michael Wright Way From its junction with Heckfords Road for its entire length. Pump Lane For its entire length.
Hills Close For its entire length.

2. To extend the existing 30mph speed limit on Heckfords Road, Great Bentley, in the District of Tendring:

Road Description
Heckfords Road From a point approximately 42 metres north of the extended northern kerb-line of Moors Close, north for approximately 50 metres.

This order revokes 'The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Restricted Roads) (No.4) Order 2008' insofar as it relates to roads at the Parish of Great Bentley only (the other restrictions in aforementioned order will continue in force). The Great Bentley restrictions will then continue in force by virtue of this new order.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 8 March 2021.

Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Fleetwood Avenue, Holland on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fleetwood Avenue, Holland on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Oakwood Avenue to its junction with Briarwood Avenue a distance of approximately 305m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st March 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2308742 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Briarwood Avenue, Park Boulevard, Grenfell Avenue, Oakwood Avenue, Fleetwood Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Cherry Chase to its junction with Gate House Mews a distance of approximately 23m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th March 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011000996049 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Station Road, Maldon Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ventnor Drive, Clacton-on-Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ventnor Drive, Clacton-on-Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with St Helens Avenue to its junction with Lymington Avenue a distance approximately 230m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd March 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2308381 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Lymington Avenue, St Helens Avenue and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. (Western Approach, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of Western Approach, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from Western Approach Roundabout to Essex Yeomanry Way Roundabout a distance of approximately 155m.

2. To temporarily close that length of Western Approach, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from London Road Roundabout to Western Approach Roundabout a distance of approximately 145m.

Closure 1 is scheduled to commence on 2nd March 2021 and finish on 22nd June 2021, Closure 2 is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2021 and finish on 17th September 2021 (214 days total), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004877 - Walker Construction Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway widening works are undertaken by Walker Construction Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Western Approach, London Road, Tollgate Roundabout, Essex Yeomanry Way, Halstead Road Roundabout, A1124 Halstead Road, A12 Slip From Stanway, A12 Slip To Stanway, Essex Yeomanry Way and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th February 2021 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Artillery Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 30m south of its junction with Barrack Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th February 2021 tor 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30039620658 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required tor the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Harsnett Road, Wimpole Road, Barrack Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 4th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Carters Hill, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Carters Hill, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 165m north west of its junction with Hill Farm Way tor a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2021 tor 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC1MK57XA2 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Carters Hill, Straight Road, Queens Head Road, Redhouse Lane, Boxted Road, The Causeway, Boxted Church Road, Church Road, Parsonage Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 4th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Heckfords Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Heckfords Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 50m south of its junction with Moors Close for a distance of approximately 100m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th March 2021 tor 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004816 - Collier & Son Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bell mouth resurfacing works are undertaken by Collier & Son Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Heckfords Road, Colchester Road, Shair Lane, The Tye Road, Weeley Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 4th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(High Street/Colchester Road, Thorpe-le-Soken) (Temporary Prohibition

of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of High Street/Colchester Road, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from the junction with Tendring Road to the junction with Landermere Road a distance of approximately 1160m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th February 2021 for 7 nights (19:30-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2308815 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order came into effect on 4th February 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
