Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003) Notice of application for a full licence to abstract (take) water.
D J Edwards, J D Edwards and M P Edwards trading as Edwards Brothers have applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from theTenpenny Brook at Frating, Essex at National Grid Reference TM 07635 21950.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 54 cubic metres an hour
- 1,296 cubic metres a day
- 80,000 cubic metres a year
- At an instantaneous rate not exceeding 15 litres per second
- between November and March inclusive in each year.
The water will be used to fill a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation.
