(Footpath 139, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 27/11/2020 and 18/12/2020.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 139 In the Borough of Colchester, Footpath 139, Colchester, for approximately 50 metres in total located at the southern end of Haven Road adjacent to CTrucks.
The closure is scheduled to continue on 09/01/2021 where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of public due to corroding of the river wall as a result of erosion.
The Order will come into effect on 09/01/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
