Colchester Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2021 - A
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Colchester Borough Council Intends under powers contained In the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to make the Colchester Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2020-A which provides as follows:
1 The Colchester Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2021 - A ("the Order") replaces the Colchester (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2020 - A ("the Original Order").

2 The Original Order is to be revoked.

3 The Order relates to the following Parking Places:

Colchester: Sheepen Road Lorry and Coach Park, Rowan House car park, Vineyard Street, Priory Street, Britannia, Sheepen Road, Town Hall car park, Osbourne Street permit surface car park, Middleborough, Napier Road North, Napier Road South, St. John's, St. Mary's multi storey, St Marys Surface, Prettygate Road, St. Christopher Road, Butt Road, Old Heath Road, The Recreation Ground car park at Port Lane, Leisure World, Leisure World car park B car park, Northern Gateway Sportspark, St. Julian Grove, Alexandra Terrace, Walsingham Road, Bergholt Road, Three Crowns Road, Sanderson Mews, West Stockwell, Stockwell, Maidenburgh Street, Atlee Gardens, Ken Cooke Court Area A & Area B resident parking areas. Myland: High Woods Country Park. Great Horkesley: Ramparts Close, Lexden: London Road car park. Dedham: Mill Lane car and lorry park & Mill Pond car park. West Mersea: Victoria Esplanade, Willoughby Park, Seaview Avenue, Coast Road, The Town Hard surface area & High Street car parks. Wivenhoe: Cooks Yard A car park, Cooks Yard B car park and High Street car park.
4 The general effect of the Order is as follows:

a. To introduce the St Marys Surface car park into the Off-Street Order as a permit parking only car park. The cost of a permit is proposed to be £92.20 for 6 months. Residents of the following properties will be entitled to apply for a one permit per property: Crowhurst Road, Hospital Lane, Manor Road, Papillon Road, Popes Lane, Rawstorn Road, St Albans Road and numbers 33 - 44 (excluding Essex House) and 55 - 125 Crouch Street

b. To introduce Northern Gateway Sportspark car park into the Off-Street Order

c. To introduce a tariff structure and parking regulations for Northern Gateway Sportspark car park into the Order

Special Events/Matches at the Community Stadium - Various charges as advertised per event

*A free stay must be booked using the MiPermit cashless parking system
d. Sports clubs and customers of the Sports Park will be able to register their vehicle upon each visit to receive free parking whilst using paid for (either through casual payment of club membership/subscription) facilities which are part of the Sports Centre, Rugby Club and Archery Club.
The car park will be open between 7am and 10.30pm, outside of these times the car park will be locked. There will be a £75 recovery fee for any drivers that wish to remove vehicles after the car park has been locked.

Any person wishing to make objections or representations in respect of the Order or any provision contained therein, must do so in writing, or by email, and be received by 5.00 pm on 12 February 2021, and specify the grounds on which they are made.
