Tendring District Council Notice of Making of An Order Town & Country Planning Act 1990 - Section 257 Bridleway 20 Great Bentley
The above order, made on 4 November 2020, will divert a part length of public Bridleway 20 in the parish of Great Bentley.
Tendring District Council Planning granted application 4/01750/OUT allowed 19 November 2015, and 19/01440/DETAIL approved 29 January 2020, being mixed use scheme comprising up to 150 dwellings and open space, a class 81 employment area and structural landscaping on land at Station Field, Plough Road, Great Bentley, Essex C07 BLG.
A part length of Bridleway 20 Great Bentley being 3 metres In width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map starting from a point by the carriageway known as Plough Road adjacent to the boundary of the property 'Four Winds' running In an east, north easterly direction along a farm access drive for a distance of 355 metres to a point where It continues unaffected, to an alternative route 3 metres In width commencing at a point located by the carriageway known as Plough Road 27 metres south east of the aforementioned start point running In an east, north easterly then north easterly direction for a distance of 361 metres parallel to the farm access track before connecting to It at the aforementioned end point where It continues unaffected.  and have also been sent to Tendring District Council and Great Bentley Parish Council.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Robert Lee, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM11QH not later than 17 December 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Tendring District Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Footpath 27, East Donyland) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 27, East Donyland in the Borough of Colchester, from the eastern end of Rowhedge Wharf River Wall, south east for approximately 30 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/11/2020 to 18/12/2020or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to remove a set of timber steps and construction of a ramp are undertaken by Bloor Homes.
The alternative route will be via Waterfront Promenade and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30/11/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 132, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 132, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Nicholsons Grove, south to its junction with Footpath 133 (Childwell Alley).
The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/11/2020 to 11/12/2020 between the hours of 09:30 AM to 15:30 PM or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while surface water alleviation and resurfacing works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via Footpath 133 (Childwell Alley) to Brook Street, north to East Hill then south west down Rosebery Hill to reach Nicholsons Grove and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 30/11/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Long Wyre Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and suspension of Prohibition of Entry) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close Long Wyre Street, in the town of Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from Culver Street, south to Priory Walk.
2. To temporarily suspend the Prohibition of Entry on Short Wyre Street at its junction with Queen Street.
The Essex County Council (Short Wyre Street, Colchester) (Prohibition of Entry) Order 2007 is hereby temporarily suspended.
The temporary restrictions are scheduled to commence on 24/11/2020 to 08/12/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction of a new 3m deep sewer connection, relating to a section 50 licence (S50-1447) is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via St Nicholas Street, High Street, East Hill, East Street, Ipswich Road, St Andrews Avenue, Harwich Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24/11/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Spring Lane (Lexden Bridge), Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of 3 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: to temporarily suspend the existing 3 Tonne weight restriction on Spring Lane (Lexden Bridge) in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 160 metres from its junction with Spring lane Roundabout for a distance of 15 metres, the entirety of Lexden Bridge over the River Colne.
The Essex County Council (Spring Lane, Colchester) (3 Tonne Weight Restrictions) Order 2008' is hereby temporarily suspended.
The temporary suspension is scheduled to commence 26/11 /2020 to 10/12/2020 and 04/02/2021 to 06/02/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while full reconstruction works of Bakers Lane are undertaken following collapse of concrete carriageway.
This Order will come into effect on 26/11/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months. A permanent order to revoke the 3 Tonne Weight Restriction on Spring Lane (Lexden Bridge) will be processed following the reconstruction of the bridge. This will follow its own consultation process in which comments will be invited from the public.
(Bromley Road, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bromley Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Park Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th December 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS310318A -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Bromley Road, Colchester Road, Ardleigh Road, Frating Road, Slough Lane, Station Road, John De Bois Hill, Fox Street, Parsons Heath, Parsons Heath Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Brook Road, Great Tey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brook Road, Great Tey in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Parsonage Court for a distance of approximately 155m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th December 2020 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30049705260 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Brook Road, Great Tey Road, Coggeshall Road, A120 From J B1024 To J A12, Broad Green, Colchester Road, Coggeshall Bypass, A120 From J A131/b1256, Colne Road, Tey Road, America Road, Earls Colne Road, Burnthouse Road, Chappel Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26th November 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Peldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Peldon in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 150m southwest of its junction with St Ives Road for a distance of approximately 350m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th December 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS279134 - BT). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(Fordham Road, West Bergholt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fordham Road, West Bergholt in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 35m west of its junction with Bures Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a west then south westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Layer Road, Abberton in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 85m north west of its junction with Rectory Lane for a distance of approximately 1210m in a north westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Pownall Crescent, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Berechurch Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Pownall Crescent, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from the junction with Mersea Road to the junction with Pownall Crescent as detailed in 'The Borough of Colchester (Pownall Crescent and Meyrick Crescent) (One Way) Order 1973' for the duration of the above closure only.
