(Footpath 19 and 20, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 19 and 20, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, Footpath 19: from its junction with Footpath 55 to its junction with Footpath 54. Footpath 20: from its junction with A1124 High Street/Church Hill to its junction with Footpath 19. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24/10/2020 to 24/12/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while re-surfacing decayed driveways on private lane are undertaken. The alternative route will be via Hillie Bunnies, Queens Road and A1124 High Street/Church, and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24/10/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(New Street, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of New Street, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Trinity Street to its junction with Mount Pleasant a distance of approximately 285m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th October 2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2296509 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Mount Pleasant, Trinity Road, Mount Hill, Trinity Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 9th October 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
