Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Section 84(1) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 40MPH speed limit on the following length of Colchester Road, Great Bentley & Frating in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 52.1 metres from its junction with the western kerb line of the access to "Penguin Random House" in an easterly direction for approximately 155 metres. (Footpath 32, Bures Hamlet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice Is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 32 Bures Hamlet, in the District of Braintree, from the Kissing Gate on Colchester Road7B1508, Bures, approximately 132.5 metres northwards from the junction of Normandie Way on the East side of the road. Leading generally north eastwards and south eastwards for approximately 176 metres to cross the footbridge over the River Stour and into the county of Suffolk. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/10/2020 to 18/10/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are carried out to build up and repair the footpath where it has dropped.
The alternative route will be via B1508 via Bures Hamlet or Via Bures Mill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 16/10/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of roads (Chesterwell Development), Myland in the Borough of Colchester:

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and FV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To Introduce a 40MPH Speed Limit on 1) B1035 Tendring Road, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 19 metres north west of its junction with B1033 Colchester Road, north west for approximately 312 metres. 2) Golden Lane, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from its junction with B1033 Colchester Road, north east for approximately 50 metres (purely a paper exercise to ensure order matches signs on ground).
'The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Tendring District) (40mph Speed Limit) (No.2) Order 2001' is hereby revoked.
'The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2010' is hereby revoked insofar as it relates to Thorpe Green and Thorpe le Soken only. All other restrictions will remain in force.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

(North Street, Manningtree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Suspension of One Way) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of North Street, Manningtree in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 20m north east of its junction with Mattings Wharf (south) for a distance of approximately 35m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way in that length of North Street, Manningtree in the District of Tendring from a point approximately 25m north of its junction with High Street to its junction with South Street as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (North Street, Manningtree) (One Way) Order 2002' for the duration of the above closure only.
