(Footpath 32, Bures Hamlet) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020
Notice Is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 32 Bures Hamlet, in the District of Braintree, from the Kissing Gate on Colchester Road/Bl 508, Bures, approximately 132.5 metres northwards from the junction of Normandie Way, on the East side of the road. Leading generally north eastwards and south eastwards for approximately 176 metres to cross the footbridge over the River Stour and into the county of Suffolk. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16/10/2020 to 18/10/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are carried out to build up and repair the footpath where it has dropped.
The alternative route will be via B1508 via Bures Hamlet or Via Bures Mill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 16/10/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.12) Order 20**

(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.11) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 15th October 2020, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
