Notice is hereby given
that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To install a loading Only' Bay on Magdalen Street, Colchester SOUTH SIDE: From a point approximately 35.1 metres west from the western properly boundary of numbers 1 -8 Magdalen Street, in a westerly direction for approximately 19.6 metres.

2. To install No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the Access Road, BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Magdalen Street, south for approximately 2 metres.

3. To Revoke No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Blackheath, Colchester SOUTH WEST SIDE: From its junction with the southern kerb line with West Donyland Court, in a northerly direction for approximately 6 metres.

4. To implement No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on West Donyland Court, Colchester BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Blackheath, south west for approximately 2 metres.

As part of the scheme existing 'No Stopping Except Buses' restrictions on the SOUTH SIDE of Magdalen Street are being relocated westwards, from a point in line with the eastern property boundary of Number 183 Magdalen Street, west for approximately 23 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TM000 247, TM000 217, TM000 220 Revision 0 to Revision 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 14th September 2020.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Bakers Lane, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bakers Lane, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Braiswick for a distance of approximately 105m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037SM57532250/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Bakers Lane, Braiswick, Bergholt Road, North Station Roundabout, Mile End Road, Station Way, Essex Hall Roundabout, Clarendon Way, North Station Road, Colne Bank Avenue Roundabout, Colne Bank Avenue, Cymbeline Way, Spring Lane Roundabout, Spring Lane North and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bromley Road, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bromley Road, Ardleigh in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 85m southwest of its junction with Spring Valley Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th September 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034842130 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Ardleigh Road, Frating Road, Slough Lane, Station Road, Colchester Road, John De Bois Hill, Fox Street, Parsons Heath, Parsons Heath Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Ellis Road & Mill Road, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Ellis Road, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 470m north of its junction with Queens Head Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a northerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Ellis Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a southeasterly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 29th September 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS110648 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Straight Road, Queens Head Road, Redhouse Lane, Boxted Road, The Causeway, Boxted Church Road, Church Road, Wet Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Frating Abbey Farm Road, Frating) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frating Abbey Farm Road, Frating in the District of Tendring from a point approximately 290m south east of its junction with Great Bentley Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th October 2020 for 25 nights (23.59 02/10/2020 - 06.00 05/10/2020 continuous, 23.59 05/10/2020 -06.00 09/10/2020 over night shifts, 23.59 09/10/2020 - 06.0012/10/2020 continuous, 23.5912/10/2020 - 06.0016/10/2020 over night shifts, 23.59 16/10/2020 - 06.00 19/10/2020 continuous, 23.5919/10/2020 - 06.00 23/10/2020 over night shifts, 23.59 24/10/2020 - 06.00 26/10/2020 continuous), or where stated on a valid permit (KL731C0C-59-74-021020SM- Network Rail Infrastructure). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing upgrade works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Frating Abbey Farm Road, Great Bentley Road, Station Road, Clacton Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Halstead Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Colchester In the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with King Coel Road for a distance of approximately 325m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th October 2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBJWNC1P007 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearing works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Halstead Road, A1124 Halstead Road Southbound, Halstead Road Roundabout, A12 Eastbound Slip From Stanway, Essex Yeomanry Way Southbound, A12 Westbound Slip From Stanway, A1124 Halstead Road Northbound, Tollgate Roundabout, Tollgate Drive, Tollgate Road, London Road, Essex Yeomanry Way Northbound and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(High Street, Walton On The Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, Walton On The Naze in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Churchfield Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st October 2020 for 1 night (21:30 ? 05:00) (roadworks to continue for 62 days) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2295417 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Street, Church Road, The Parade, Pier Approach, Old Pier Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tey Road, Aldham/Moor Road, Great Tey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tey Road, Aldham/Moor Road, Great Tey in the Borough of Colchester, from the junction with New Road to both junctions with Chappel Road a distance of approximately 2950m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2020 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2301238-EH2301289 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via New Road, Ford Street, Halstead Road, Ponders Road, Colchester Road, The Street, Chappel Hill, Swan Grove, Swan Street, Oak Road, Popes Lane, Chappel Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 17th September 2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.10) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads tor the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 17th September 2020, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
