Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council is seeking planning permission for Demolition of the former Wickford Centre and existing caretaker's house. Construction of a single storey Pupil Referral Unit(PRU) to provide 100 pupil places together with associated car parking and cycle parking and landscaping works at Edas Wickford Centre, Alderney Gardens, Wickford, SS11 7JZ - CC/BAS/67/20 The proposed development may not accord with the provision of the Basildon District Local Plan Saved Policies 2007 in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.

Further to notices: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 28/05/2020.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Bridleway 8, South Hanningfield & Bridleway 33, Ramsden Crays in the City of Chelmsford & Borough of Basildon: Bridleway Description
Bridleway 8, South From its junction with Heath Road, south for approximately Hanningfield 1490 metres to its junction with Bridleway 33, Ramsden Crays.
Bridleway 33, From its junction with Bridleway 8, South Hanningfield, south
Ramsden Crays to its junction with Footpath 164, Billericay.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 18/06/2020 for 6 months, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the due to damage to the culvert.
Alternative route will be via Church Lane, Crays Hill, Bridleway 71 Ramsden Crays, Bridleway 71 Ramsden Bellhouse, Bridleway 12 South Hanningfield, Park Lane, Heath Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18/06/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
(Long Riding, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Long Riding, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 75m west of its junction with Fairlop Gardens for a distance of approximately 55m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29/06/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2286207 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while surfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Long Riding, Church Road, Broadmayne, Southernhay, Great Oaks, Linkway, Mopsies Roundabout, Churchill Avenue and Timberlog Lane. The Order will come into effect on 18/06/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.5) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping'' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'NoWaiting atAny Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 04/06/2020, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
