Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 20 April 2020.
The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the
Schedule to this Notice.

(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 4) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' on Colchester Road, Edgefield Avenue, Main Road and High Street; to replace 'NoWaiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm' on Fronks Road and Main Road with 'No Waiting At Any Time' outside 441-463 Main Road; to replace the existing loading bay on Rosemary Road with 'Loading only Mon-Sat 10am-4pm and Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-10am and 4pm-8pm 1 Hour No Return Within 2 Hours' and to revoke part of the limited waiting bay and replace with 'No Waiting At Any Time' on High Street in Tendring District.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil EnforcementArea) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TM095 312 to rev 1, TM105 317 to rev 1, TM140 157 to rev 1, TM175 147 to rev 1 and TM240 310 to rev 1. (Mill Lane, Bradfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Bradfield in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 75m east of its junction with Windmill Road for a distance of approximately 240m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/04/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W00000IBBFL9VJ01 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, The Street, Heath Road, Cansey Lane,
Windmill Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 03/04/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Brantham Road, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brantham Road, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 50m north of its junction with Dale Hall Roundabout for a distance of approximately 160m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 03/04/2020 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KL731LTN1-59-44-030420 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while crossing renewal works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via The Causeway, Brantham, Brantham Hill, Ipswich Road, The Street, Main Road, The Heath, A14, A12, London Road, Stratford Road, A12, A1232 Ipswich Road, St Andrews Avenue, Harwich Road, Parsons Heath, Fox Street,
John De Bois Hill, Colchester Road, Wignall Street, Coxs Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 20/03/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
