(Old Heath Road, Southminster) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Old Heath Road, Southminster in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 185m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2019 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W00000IBTDMPVTA -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while upgrading pole works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Old Heath Road, Burnham Road, Southminster Road, Church Road, Maldon Road, Tinkers Hole Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 8th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Road, Tollesbury & Back Road, Tollesbury)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Road, Tollesbury and Back Road, Tollesbury in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 140m west of the junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 330m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2019 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034819701 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Station Road, North Street, South Street, Tollesbury Road, West Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 8th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hackmans Lane, Cold Norton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hackmans Lane, Cold Norton in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Stow Road to its junction with Hagg Hill, a distance of approximately 765m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2019 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5001CCESSA1A002001 -County Broadband LTD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre network installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Burnham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Pump Lane, Fambridge Road, Latchingdon Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 8th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Grove Farm Road, Tolleshunt D'arcy) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grove Farm Road, Tolleshunt D'arcy in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Brick House Road for a distance of approximately 175m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W002SEPEA4DDA09 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken
by BT.
An alternative route is available via Maldon Road, Station Road, Factory Hill, Tudwick Road, Grove Farm Road, Brick House Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 22nd August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Alamein Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Alamein Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Normandy Avenue to its junction Arnheim Road, a distance of approximately 105m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2019 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034823221 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Normandy Avenue, Dunkirk Road, Arnheim Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 22nd August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.4) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Maldon as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works are scheduled to commence on 8th August 2019, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Telec Networks Ltd.
The Order came into effect on 8th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of fibre network works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd. An alternative route is available via Latchingdon Road, Fambridge Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 15th August 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
