Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 Essex County Council Public Path Diversion Order 2019 Footpath 13 Tolleshunt Knights
On 10 June 2019 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order map is to divert Footpath 13 Tolleshunt Knights commencing from a point by an existing pedestrian gate and boundary running in an east south easterly direction across a field for a distance of 190 metres to reach a point by the existing footbridge and boundary where it continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the aforementioned start point running initially in an easterly then a generally north north easterly direction following around the perimeter of the field before continuing in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of 267 metres to a point in the north east corner of the field. The path then continues in a south westerly then a generally westerly direction around the field perimeter then in a southerly direction for a final distance of 62 metres to connect to the aforementioned end point.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Maldon District Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon, Essex CM9 5DL and at Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road CM1 1QH during normal working hours. Copies are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge. The alternative route comes into force on 8 July 2019, and the old route shall be stopped up with effect from 15 July 2019, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 20 June 2019 make an application to the High Court. (Chigborough Road, Heybridge/Great & Little Totham) (Temporary One Way Restriction) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily impose a one way restriction on the following length of Chigborough Road, Heybridge/Great & Little Totham in the District of Maldon:

The temporary one way restriction is scheduled to commence on
23 June 2019 between the hours of 05:30h and 18:00h or where
appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required
for safety of the public and to ease traffic congestion while the
Blackwater Country Show takes place takes place.
The alternative route for southbound traffic will be via Scraley Road,
Colchester Road, B1026 Goldhanger Road.
The Order will come into effect on 23 June 2019 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
(Mayland Hill, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Green Lane and Highlands Hill, south to a point approximately 68 metres south of Bovill Lodge. Works permit references EP00312000822 and EP00312000823.
The closure is scheduled to commence in phases, phase 1 will
commence on 24 June 2019 to 19 July 2019 and phase 2 will
commence 21 October 2019 to 25 October 2019 or where appropriate
signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for
the safety of the public and workforce while works to install new gas
main in association with Section 50 Licence.
The alternative route will be via: Southminster Road/Button's Hill/
B1018 Burnham Road/Green Lane and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be
maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 24 June 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
