(Cricks Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cricks Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Overhall Hill for a distance of approximately 780m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th May 2019 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2274789 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Countess Cross Road, Colne Park Road, Mill Lane, Station Road, High Street, The Street, Lawshall's Hill, Upper Holt Street, Elms Hall Road, Cricks Road, Church Hill, Colne Road, Clay Hills, Pebmarsh Road, Halstead Road, Lower Holt Street, Hill House Road, Garlands Lane, Countess Cross, Levitts Corner, Colneford Hill, Park Lane, Church Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 17th May 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Forrey Green, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Forrey Green, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 805m south west of its junction with Harrow Cross Road for a distance of approximately 200m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th June 2019 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W012JUNEA4AFB10 -BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on
. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead lines maintenance works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Horn Hill, A1124, Church Street, Southey Green, A1017, School Road, Halstead Road, Potter Street, Swan Street, Rectory Road, Forrey Green, Starlings Hill, Queen Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st May 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
