COLVIN Evelyn Mary A memorial service will be held for Evelyn at St James Church, Brightlingsea on Friday 6th August at 10 am. Evelyn died peacefully at Stronvar Rest Home on 25th May aged 101 years. She was the Founding President of the Brightlingsea Women's Institute and a keen sailor, bowler and amateur actor. She was predeceased by her Daughter Evelyn, her Husband James, last Surveyor and Public Health Officer of Brightlingsea Urban District Council and her latter-day Partner Eric Woodgate. She is survived by her Son Eric, Daughter-in -Law Julia, Grandchildren Alexander (Jennifer) and Victoria (Phil), Great-Grandchildren Claire, Phoebe, Charlotte and Kate and Angie her helpmate. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to RNLI.
