AITKEN Phyllis (Née Brock) 11-2-1923 11-6-1999 The birds are singing, your roses in bloom, The sign that summer is on its way. It also means another year has passed, Since we lost you Mum, on that awful day. Your early life wasn't always easy, There were hard times but also great fun. Through a twist of fate you met our Dad, And knew he was that "special" one. We enjoyed a family full of love, With parents who made a perfect team. Always loving, kind and caring, You created the childhood dream. You were always "by our side", Even when we had left home, Throughout the good and the bad times You made sure we were never alone. Because you were so special Mum, We still miss you every day. But you left us treasured memories, That will never go away. Remembered with love today and everyday.
