SPURGIN Mick Passed away peacefully on 30th March 2019, aged 86 years. Husband of the late Hazel. A much loved Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad who will be deeply missed. Funeral service to take place at Colchester Crematorium on Thursday 2nd May at 12.30pm. Family flowers only, donations at Mick's request to St. Helena Hospice c/o East of England Co-operative Funeral Services 89 Wimpole Road, Colchester, Essex, CO1 2DB.

A truly great man. A great, dry, sense of humour. A brilliant mind in union business. Apparently, his notes taken at union meetings were accepted by both sides without being seen.
A sad loss. R.I.P.
