I SHOULD like to endorse the views expressed by Mike Thompson under the heading Bromley Council is not anti-German.
As Mr Thompson mentions, Bromley is twinned with the German town of Neuwied, a partnership which has been in existence for 14 years. The council works closely with the Bromley Town Twinning Association to nurture the links built up over this period.
Each year there are a number of exchange visits between individuals and groups from our two towns. Most recently, a group of about 50 pupils, teachers and parents from Warren Road School were welcomed in Neuwied by a school with whom they have had an active link for several years.
