Jennifer Aniston says people expect her to want to start a family now
Jennifer Aniston has insisted she's in no hurry to have kids.
The Friends star recently sparked rumours she was expecting a baby after giving up smoking and gaining a couple of pounds, but the actress - who is dating actor Justin Theroux - said she's not feeling any pressure to get pregnant.
"I still kind of go with, if it happens, it happens. I'm calm and peaceful with whatever the plan is. It's not something where I'm going, 'I gotta have a kid!'," she told US GQ magazine.
Jen said of the pregnancy claims: "I recently quit smoking, and you do put on some extra pounds. It makes a difference, especially if you're not 20. I think people maybe want me to have a kid now."
But Jen - who was pictured on the magazine's cover in a racy black bra with Wanderlust co-star Paul Rudd - also revealed she's not looking for a "picture-perfect life".
"I think that's sort of cliche, isn't it? Like, if you want to be happy, you should have the house, the husband, the kids... Kids are messy!"
