It was success again for Home Farm School.
For the second year running they took top honours at the Colchester Schools gala at Colchester Leisure World.
They came out on top in both the boys' and girls' categories despite a strong challenge from Layer and Friars Grove.
But Home Farm came first in six of the eight finals on the day.
An exciting afternoon was enjoyed by a large crowd of swimmers and parents who were yet again treated to a high standard of swimming.
Results: Boys' one-length freestyle: 1 St Thomas More 14.59 seconds, 2 Home Farm 14.69s, 3 Friars Grove 16.2s.
Girls' one-length freestyle: 1 Home Farm 15.58s, 2 Layer 16.46s, 3 Friars Grove 17.78s.
Boys' one-length breaststroke: 1 Home Farm 19.35s, 2 Layer 21.56s, 3 Great Clacton 21.95s.
Girls' one-length breaststroke: 1 Friars Grove 20.88s, 2 Home Farm 20.88s, 3 Layer 21.86s.
Boys' one-length backstroke: 1 Home Farm 18.35s, 2 Holland Park 21.01s, 3 Heathlands 21.01s.
Girls' one-length backstroke: 1 Home Farm 19.84s, 2 St Thomas More 20.41s.
Boys' 4x1 freestyle relay: 1 Home Farm 1m 6.5s1, 2 St Thomas More 1m 18.07s, 3 Friars Grove 1m 20.24s.
Girls' freestyle relay: 1 Home Farm 1m 11.29s, 2 Layer 1m 19.28s, 3 Friars Grove 1m 21.46s.
Boys' event total: 1 Home Farm 23pts, 2 St Thomas More 14 pts, 3 Friars Grove 10pts. Girls events total: 1 Home Farm 23 pts, 2 Layer 16 pts, 3 Friars Grove 10 pts.
Overall Points: 1 Home Farm 46 pts, 2 Friars Grove 24pts, =3 Layer and St Thomas More 21pts.
