UNBEATEN for five years.

That's the impressive record of Gilberd School's Year 11 netball team.

The Colchester school side was first formed when the girls were in Year Seven and since then they have played local schools and competed in the North Essex League. They are yet to be defeated.

The team is coached by teacher Claire Lightfoot and the school is delighted with their success.

The girls in the team: Yasamin Ablo, Aimee Williams, Jess Murphy, Hannah Carr, Vicky Franks, Ella Hayward, Mimi Clark, Abbie Oliver, Leanne Fahy.
