Stodel selected for London 2012 GB team

HANNAH Stodel is firmly focused on medal glory after being selected for the Great Britain team for the London 2012 Games West Mersea sailor Stodel, along with John Robertson and Stephen Thomas, were named yesterday by the British Paralympic Association to compete in the Sonar Class at the Olympic sailing venues of Weymouth and Portland next year.

They were selected alongside Alexandra Rickham and Niki Birrell in the SKUD 18 class.

The athletes are the first named members of the British team to achieve selection and are the first to be officially selected for either ParalympicsGB or Team GB.
