Driving in - Clacton's new lady captain Brenda Lord
THE cold weather did not stop a full field of ladies playing an 18-hole stableford competition at Clacton Golf Club.
The winner, with 36 points, was Sue Gurry.
In second place was Judy Speck, with 34, and in third was Lin Euston, with 32.
The annual Turkey Chase competition saw Jennie Corbyn win with 36 points.
Speck again came second with 33 points while Clacton's new lady captain, Brenda Lord, came third on countback.
