CATRIONA Chaplin fought off tough competition to land the Windfall Trophy at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club.
Chaplin finished with 36 points to beat Sue Latham on countback and land the trophy on the Gainsborough course, which was in really good condition.
Stoke by Nayland's weekend Ladies held their yearly Invitation Day.
They played nine holes of four ball better ball, prior to nine holes of aggregate scoring.
Debbie Howlett and guest Sue Lockwood were victorious ahead of runners-up Sue Gregory and Pat Partridge, after both pairs finished with 54 points.
A point behind in third place were Barbara Jones and guest Mary Payne, with 53 points.
Nearest the pin was won by guest Jude Hannah.
