THERE were some high scores recorded as Stoke by Nayland Golf Club hosted their Dougie Mixed competition.
Del Pritchard and Jo Little won with 45 points in the popular American Greensomes’ format, which saw both players hit a drive and each other’s ball for the second shot before playing alternate shots.
Pritchard and Little finished a point ahead of runners-up Ian and Bev Thompson, with Nigel and Mandy Byham third place with 43 points.
The best back nine holes were played by Barry and Lesley Hitchcock and the best front nine by Gary Borthwick and Barbara Rowe.
The prizes were presented by club captain Don Wiggins and ladies captain, Anne Hemmings.
