IN breezy, summer, conditions 50 golfers played in Five Lakes’ 2015 Secretary’s Trophy.

Played from the white medal tees some golfers found scoring quite difficult.

Four players returned 34 stableford points, Malcolm Pitt, Darren Farrup, Doug Wood and Matt Foot, chasing them with 35 points was four handicapper Billy Coe to be just outside the main prizes.

Scoring 36 points and losing out on countback was Eric Howlett (14), taking third place from Jack Garnett (4), on the same score with 20 points on his back nine holes to claim second slot.

But winner and holder of the Secretary's Trophy for 2015 is Neil Shinwell (10) with 39 points.

Birdie twos were won on the par threes by club captain Roger Hyman on the 11th, Billy Coe on the eighth, Trevor Harris and Neil Shinwell on the fourth and Steve Butler on the 16th.
