Colchester Rugby Club head coach Anthony O’Riordan wants to create a ‘ruthless’ culture at the club.
His side put Old Priorians to the sword last weekend piling 85 points on their visitors and shutting them out.
O’Riordan’s try machine trundles down to Thurrock today looking for more of the same in London League division one north.
O’Riordan said: “We are trying to create a ruthless culture, in the loosest sense, at the club.
“Points mean prizes at this level of rugby and you have to be on top of your game every week.
“We are trying to move away from last season were we just did enough to win.
“If we train harder and play harder then we will get the results.
“It’s importannt that we keep a strong defence and I was pleased we kept a clean sheet last week.
“We are trying to make a statement in the division."
