COLCHESTER and Tendring Athletic Club teenager Ramadan Osman claimed an excellent top-four finish at the Essex five-mile race.
The talented 18-year-old finished fourth overall and was also first under-20 runner, after clocking a personal best (PB) of 26 minutes 22 seconds.
Osman continues to make his mark in road running in the county at the event hosted by Witham Road Runners, which attracted more than 450 runners.
Meanwhile, CAT's athlete Alfie Kelway was in action at the Essex County Pentathlon.
He secured two PBs in the long jump and shot putt and won the 800 metres, race to finish a respectable sixth in Essex amongst the senior under-15 group.
