SEVEN Harwich Runners were in action at Parkruns around the region and, as usual, the most popular was the Colchester Castle event.
It was to be a red-letter day for Harwich star Robert Reason, despite narrowly missing the win by only two seconds.
His course-best time of 16 minutes and 59 seconds ensured his entry on to the highly-select list of those to clock a sub-17m time.
Reason was only the 11th person to break that particular barrier since the event’s inception in April last year.
