Moorhouse is selected to represent Great Britain at the Paralympic Games

SCOTT Moorhouse is honoured to be selected for the Great Britain Paralympic team.

The 22-year old Essex University student was named in the 49-strong track and field athletics squad on Tuesday for the London Games.

He will compete in the men’s Javelin F42 classification and is currently ranked fourth in the world behind Iran’s Kamran Shokrisalari, Norway’s Runar Steinstad and South Africa’s Casper Schutte.

Moorhouse said: “ It’s a massive honour to be selected for Great Britain.

“It’s really exciting now with the Paralympic Games only seven weeks away."
