TOMMY Miller put one over his old boss as Ipswich Town stayed in the hunt for a play-off spot with a vital draw at Wolves.
The midfielder lashed home a precision, last-gasp free-kick to salvage a 1-1 draw from Saturday's Coca-Cola Championship showdown at Molineux.
It kept them seventh in the table, three points behind sixth-placed Crystal Palace, who won 2-0 at Watford.
Miller played under Wolves boss Mick McCarthy at Sunderland and joked: "I don't think I'll be too popular with him now.
"We know each other from our time together at the Stadium of Light.
"I owe him a lot because he took me back to the North-East (from Ipswich in June 2005) and gave me the chance to play in the Premier League.
"It's funny how things work out but, from my point of view, I was just delighted to score such an important goal.
"It was a big point for us - we really needed it - and now only time will tell if it'll be enough to get us into the top six.
"I really hope so because the boys in our dressing room are desperate to play in the Premier League."
