Roy Keane is counting his blessings in terms of the patience being afforded to him as Ipswich Town boss.
The Blues manager is under pressure following Tuesday’s setback at Watford – a result that leaves them languishing 17th in the Championship.
Other rivals managers have paid a heavy price in terms of losing their jobs.
Bristol City’s Gary Johnson was sacked on Wednesday – despite his side being two places and a point above Ipswich – and Keane said: “I need to count my blessings.
“It’s horrible when good managers and good people lose their jobs.
“But that’s the problem when you’re relying and depending on the people you work with.
“Some of those players might not turn up or fancy it on the night.
“It depends what mood they’re in and it’s amazing you have to work in that environment.”
