Former Colchester schoolboy Connor Wickham scored his first Championship goal this afternoon as Ipswich Town pipped Scunthorpe 1-0.
The 16-year-old, who turns 17 later this month, netted a brilliant injury-time winner to settle a poor contest at Portman Road.
The substitute juggled the ball in the box, turned and slotted home with aplomb to notch his first league goal.
His only other two strikes had come in a Carling Cup success at Shrewsbury in August.
Two players were sent off in the second half, with Scunthorpe's Cliff Byrne being dismissed for an off-the-ball barge on Jack Colback.
Town's Damien Delaney then followed him down the tunnel for a trip on Jonathan Forte.
