Ipswich are set up to increase their offer for top summer target Michael Chopra.
According to reports, the Blues are preparing a £4 million bid for the Cardiff striker (pictured), who played under Town boss Roy Keane at Sunderland.
Town have already had an increased bid of £3.75m knocked back by the Bluebirds.
But they are clearly determined to land their man, with Keane excited by the prospect of pairing Chopra with star 17-year-old Connor Wickham.
Cardiff are apparently willing to sell the 26-year-old and have lined up a replacement in the shape of Swindon’s Charlie Austin.
But they want to at least match the £4m they splashed out to sign the front man from Sunderland.
