Ipswich Town slid to just their fourth defeat in 23 games this afternoon after losing 1-0 at Blackpool.

Jason Euell scored the hosts' all-important goal with a close-range finish nine minutes into the second half.

Town's best efforts came from Jaime Peters, Daryl Murphy and David Healy.

Jon Walters then hit the bar in the last few seconds.

To cap a miserable day, Grant Leadbitter picked up his tenth booking of the season and now has to serve a two-match suspension.
