Colchester United kept their seventh successive clean sheet in pre-season after winning 1-0 at Chelmsford City.
Kayode Odejayi headed the U's winner seven minutes into the second half, after feeding off Ashley Vincent's cross.
Just as they had at Cambridge United the previous night, Colchester created plenty of chances, particularly in the first half.
However, they had to rely on Odejayi's goal in the second period to claim another pre-season win.
Colchester play their final pre-season friendly on Saturday when they travel to play npower League Two side Aldershot.
