FORMER Colchester United midfielder Kem Izzet has been confirmed as the new manager of Stanway Rovers.
He replaces ex-U's team-mate Karl Duguid, who is staying at the club and will now be assistant boss.
Izzet has just parted company with Market Needham and and captained them to Suffolk Premier Cup success on Monday evening, defeating Lowestoft Town 3-2.
He joined the Suffolk club in the summer of 2013 after playing 13 seasons professionally for the U's.
He previously made over 400 league appearances for Colchester, between 2001 and 2013.
Duguid replaced Angelo Harrop midway through last season and guided The Hawthorns club to a sixth-place finish in the Thurlow Nunn League.
To complete a hat-trick of announcements, Michael Pulford is taking over as director of football at Stanway.
