HOLDERS AFC Pegasus are through to the semi-finals of the Charles Hewitt Memorial League Knockout Cup.

The Colchester and District Sunday League premier division leaders beat division one side Fox and Fiddler 4-1 in the quarter-finals, thanks to Ryan Dale's brace and one each for Josh Dillon and Lewis Blanchett.

Fox's consolation came from Kye Tuckwell.

Pegasus will face fellow premier division outfit FC Byair Alresford after they beat division three outfit Flag, 3-2.

Goals from Jamie Eades, Luke Mayhew and Brandon Rusby helped Duckpond win 3-1 against Wormingford Wanderers, for whom Josh Hodgson was on target.

The Ducks will face St Johns, who won 6-0 at home to St Osyth.

Adie Cant bagged a hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Todd Ayling, Jack Gregory and Gregan Savill.

In the only premier division game, Feering United beat CUSA 7-0.

In division two, Marquis won 5-2 at Pathfields, while Great Clacton United came from behind to beat Kelvedon Victoria 4-1.

Ale House Gills won a best-of-three encounter at home to Colchester Athletic, which featured a 40-yard screamer from Bradley Garner.

Lewis Wilden scored four times as Vikings went top of division three on goal difference with a 9-3 win over Bullers, jumping Queens Arms and Blacksmiths who drew 0-0.

Fifteen Degrees won 8-0 at Stone Island, with George Vallentyne netting four while Tiptree Park beat Dynamo Darcy 3-1 at Mile End.

Dovercourt Rovers won 1-0 at home to Pitchbury and Ryan Chamberlain's hat-trick helped Sokretez win 4-0 at Great Oakley.

One match in the Wally Castle Trophy saw Sunday Shrimpers beat Iceni Wanderers 2-1, in Group D.
