Colchester Rugby Club remain second from bottom in National League Three after losing 32-14 to Westcombe Park at Mill Road.
Matt Wadling’s converted try gave the Blacks a 7-3 lead but the visitors hit back with a try of their own and led 13-7 at half-time.
Westcombe Park extended their lead to 25-7 after the break with another converted try, before Damien Brambley gave Colchester hope with a try that James Crozier converted.
However, the visitors proved too strong and added more points before the end, to run out winners.
