ESSEX ACTION: Rebecca Jeggo represented her county at the South of England Under-17 Inter-Counties Championships
A WEEK after her exploits at the English Schools Championships, Colchester Harrier Rebecca Jeggo was back in action representing Essex.
This time she competed at the South of England Under-17 Inter-Counties Championships, where there was some high-quality competition.
Jeggo was third in the A string 100 metres in a time of 12.35 seconds.
She was then second in her more favoured event, the 200m, clocking a superb 24.97s.
Jeggo was also part of the 4 x 100m relay team, which was also second on the day.
