LINKS Karate Kai were represented at the Welsh Open Championships, in Cardiff.
The club entered a small number of their more experienced competitors, along with a number of younger squad members hoping to gain essential experience.
In total they won three gold medals, three silvers and two bronzes.
Medals: Gold: Mitchell Thorpe.
Silver: Lloyd Birch and Charlotte Hope.
Bronze: Ethan Day and Maisie Raymond.
Team medals: Gold: Maisie Raymond, Charlotte Hope, Lloyd Birch and Ethan Day.

Selected Links Karate Kai A and B squads attended the IKGA England junior invitational Kumite competition, in Grays.
They enjoyed some great results, including gold medals for Maisie Raymond, Lennie Lock, Harry Packford, Ishani Kadambi, Ethan Day and Summer Whittaker.
There was a silver for Lloyd Birch and bronzes for Maddox Tallowin, Liam Hope and Whittaker.
