Steve is clear winner at Maldon Prom event
EIGHT Harwich Runners took part in various Parkruns on Saturday.
The Maldon Prom event proved the most popular, on the day.
Not only did Harwich provide the winning runner at the riverside course, they also packed three more finishers into the top 15 among a healthy field of 166 competitors.
Harwich Runner Steve Hewes was the clear winner on the day, beating nearest rival Paul Dobson, of Springfield Striders, by 30 seconds to claim his ninth victory at the venue in 18 minutes and 20 seconds.
