Brightlingsea Regent held their first home game in the Ryman league and celebrated with a win.
They secured a 1-0 division one north victory against visiting Soham Town Rangers on Tuesday night.
Regent went ahead on the stroke of half-time as Ricky Griggs powered through on goal, rounded the keeper, and fired home on 45 minutes.
Brightlingsea almost made it 2-0 at the start of the second half when TJ Amass hits the post following a corner.
On 67 minutes, Jake Turner whipped in a great free-kick into the box but no Brightlingsea player was able to get on the end of it.
But Regent did enough to take the win.
