Witham Town also joined in the goal party with a 4-2 win over visiting Ware.

Leigh Rose opened the scoring for the visitors before Lewis Godbold equalised early in the second half.

Ware regained the lead through Dave Hunt but goals for Sam Taylor, James Stevens and Tom Wraight saw Witham claim the win.

Maldon and Tiptree, however, were on the wrong end of a 4-0 thumping at Wroxham.

While Ryman League new boys Burnham Ramblers fell to a 2-1 defeat against visiting Needham Market.
