Braintree Town got back to winning ways tonight when they beat Lincoln City 1-0 in their televised clash at the Amlin Stadium, Braintree.
Andy Yiadom's long-range strike just after the half hour proved enough to give Iron all three points against the Imps, in front of a crowd of 1,182.
Matt Paine, Sean Marks and Jai Reason all went close early on.
But Yiadom broke the deadlock when he fired home from 25 yards, into the bottom corner.
Lincoln's John Nutter was foiled twice by Braintree keeper Nathan McDonald and Sam Smith hit the bar for the visitors.
But Braintree held on to secure three points and bounce back, after back-to-back defeats.
