MO Osman has stepped down as WIVENHOE TOWN manager.
The long-serving Dragons boss took charge in September 2009 and led the club through some difficult times.
However, in 2015/16 he guided them to the Thurlow Nunn League first division title - the club's first championship since 1990.
Osman said: "I would like to thank all the players and everyone that has shown support over the years but I now feel the time is right."
He will continue as club chairman and with the other duties he performs for Wivenhoe.
Osman's last game in charge was Friday’s 9-0 defeat against neighbours Stanway Rovers.
The club have said they will release more information about the position shortly.
