FORMER Stanway Rovers boss Angelo Harrop has joined the management team at Brightlingsea Regent.
He has been appointed head coach and took his first training session on Thursday night.
Harrop recently resigned from his role at The Hawthorns, saying he had taken the club as far as he could.
“All the players have reacted very positively to the appointment,” said Regent boss James Webster.
“I’m very pleased to have Angelo on board because he’s an excellent young coach who is hungry to progress. That the mentality I like to have at the football club.”
Harrop added: “I’m really excited to be joining the management team and looking forward to working with a very talented squad of players.”
Meanwhile, Regent have also confirmed that Mike Wallace has taken up the new role of performance analyst at North Road.
